In his resignation letter to the PDP Chairman of Obosi Ward in Anambra State, which he later shared with Channels Television, Chidoka expressed his gratitude to the party for the opportunities it provided him to serve the nation in various roles.
He reflected on his tenure with the party, noting that it was through the PDP that he rose to become the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and later a senior minister.
However, Chidoka stated that his current priorities lie with the Athena Centre, which demands his full attention. He emphasized that, to effectively lead this initiative, he must adopt a neutral position, free from any partisan affiliation.
