The Chairman of Katcha Local Government Area in Niger State, Danlami Abdullahi Saku, has tragically died in a fatal car accident along the Minna-Suleja Road.
Saku, who was on his way to Abuja, died in the crash, which occurred around 7 p.m. on Tuesday near the Kwakwuti area of the road.
The Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Niger State Governor, Bologi Ibrahim, confirmed the incident in a statement late Tuesday night.

He stated that Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago received the news with deep shock and sorrow, describing Saku’s passing as heartbreaking.
In his message, Governor Bago reflected that the death of Saku serves as a poignant reminder that all life is in the hands of Allah, and everyone returns to Him at the appointed time.
The governor expressed his condolences to the bereaved family, the people of Katcha Local Government Area, and the entire state.
He urged the people to remain steadfast in accepting the will of Allah, acknowledging that Allah’s wisdom is perfect in all matters.
