When lawmakers reminded the President that they were the 10th National Assembly, he responded with a touch of humor, saying, “10th? I wrote 11th, which means you’re all re-elected.”

The President arrived at the National Assembly precisely at 12:14 p.m., where he was officially welcomed by lawmakers and senior government officials.

The budget proposal, totaling ₦47.96 trillion, outlines the expenditure priorities for 2025. Key allocations and their implications will be discussed in future sessions.
