On Monday, Hon. Ojezele Osezua Sunday, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Representing the Esan South East state constituency, Hon. Osezua described his move to the APC as a “homecoming.”

He explained that the internal crisis within the PDP prompted his decision to join the APC.
The state chairman of the APC, Jaret Tenabe, who welcomed Osezua at the party’s secretariat, expressed confidence that more individuals would join the APC in the near future.
He also emphasized that the challenges within the PDP, which led to the departure of some members, were not the fault of the APC.
