Benue APC Stakeholders Reveals Position Amid Calls For Akume’s Sack

The stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State have strongly condemned the call for the removal of Senator George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), and have warned those behind this move to cease their actions immediately.

“The SGF remains our political leader and we condemn any call by any group or persons for his removal, he is an outstanding Benue politician that has a humane heart to help others to grow without looking back and we will continue to support him in whatever way we can to enable him to succeed.

“The stakeholders also endorsed the re-election of President Tinubu come 2027  assuring that they would mobilise support in the nooks and crannies of the state to ensure that the president gets 100 percent votes.”

Praising President Tinubu for the support he has demonstrated towards Benue State through the appointments made for its people, they vowed to work towards ensuring his re-election in 2027.

It is worth noting that just a few weeks ago, the gubernatorial liaison officers staged a protest in Makurdi, demanding that President Tinubu remove Akume from his position.
