He was warmly received upon arrival by Lagos State Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, along with other dignitaries, including the mosque’s clergy.
A statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, noted that this was the president’s first public appearance since attending prayers at the Alausa Central Mosque the previous Friday.

During the event, the Chief Imam of the Lekki Central Mosque, Ridhwan Jamiu, acknowledged the president’s presence and prayed for his success in guiding the nation towards peace, security, and prosperity.
