Two-time heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu at his residence in Lagos State.
During the meeting, Joshua gifted Tinubu an autographed boxing glove, which was inscribed with the words, “To the Great Asiwaju Jagaban Borgu of Africa, Bola A Tinubu.”

“President Bola Tinubu receiving an autographed glove from former World Heavyweight Champion, Anthony Joshua, when he visited the President at his residence in Lagos. January 1, 2025,” a post on the Presidency’s X handle read with photos from the visit attached.
The Nigerian-born British boxer is currently in the country for the holiday season and recently paid a visit to Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun.
