Prophet Joshua Iginla of the Champion Royal Assembly has issued a warning about potential challenges ahead, including the possibility of a medical emergency for President Tinubu and significant opposition to Senate President Godswill Akpabio from Northern political forces.
He also advised Akpabio to collaborate peacefully with Northern leaders to fulfill secret agreements made. Iginla further cautioned the government to heed the concerns of Northern Nigerians, stressing the need to find common ground for peaceful resolutions.
Additionally, he urged the FCT Minister to prioritize his health to effectively perform his duties.
These statements were part of Iginla’s 2025 prophecy, which he said was revealed to him by God during his New Year’s message at the cross-over service held at his church in Abuja.

He said: “President Tinubu must pay attention to his health and give himself much rest so that the enemy does not take that as a way of giving him a strong blow because I saw a medical emergency and we don’t pray that that should happen.
“We pray against it, but that’s what I saw. That is very, very important that he should take care of his health And there is going to be a lot of gang up against him strongly, very strongly. And the drama will unfold this year like never before, and there will be strong betrayal.
“For the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, he is going to have a lot of strong resistance from the strong Northern powers. They want to move a vote of no confidence or impeachment process against him. Like I saw clearly too. He has to play good politics with the Northern brother.
“They are, like I said to the President, there’s Gang up. He must work in a peaceful strategy with the Northern elite to make sure that promises that are made in the secret should be honoured openly. As it is, is still going to cause more problems in the Senate.
“Talking about the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, you know the Senate has seen the wish of the Northern Senators and Governor will Ganga against him in the past year, 2024, is still what he is going to witness. Even more than that, the tax reform bill one of the crux of the matter and more of the things that I don’t want to mention publicly are part of the things that are there.
“I want to say that the government of the day should not play with the North in terms of trampling on their views. We should find a common ground for peaceful resolution. It’s very important. There should be no issue of fight back, an issue of I think I have the power, I can do many things. If not, there can be many surprises politically.
“As for the FCT minister, he should pray concerning his health and he will do more projects and turn the city around, he will step on many toes, he will bring a lot of reformation to FCT, but he has to pray for his health. It’s only the living that can actually have a political mandate and move forward.
“There are other things about Fubara, the Rivers State Governor, he will grow strong, he will have strong challenges too, and the challenges are going to be more overwhelming, but I don’t think anything will change anything.
Iginla, while recognizing the challenges faced by Nigerians in 2024, expressed hope for the country’s future improvement. He encouraged citizens to stay hopeful and continue supporting the government despite the ongoing difficulties.
He stressed the importance of addressing the immediate needs of the population, particularly in areas like food security and education, while also focusing on long-term strategies for economic development.
Additionally, Iginla praised the government’s initiatives to strengthen the economy, highlighting the achievements of the Worry Refinery and the anticipated impact of the Dangote Refinery.
“Nigeria, we experienced a lot of ups and downs in 2024.I don’t want to actually rush into conclusion with the new regime.
“We just have to be hopeful, trusting God that there are plans and policies to better Nigeria. But still, we just have to say that as a pastor, I have been part, piloting the field of this ministry for years now. I’ve never seen the pressure I had.
“As a pastor, as a clergyman from all quarters in terms of hunger, in terms of pressure of just food and what people could do to pay their children’s school fees. Life is very tough for normal citizens in Nigeria.
“I think the government of the day just have to try and do their best to ensure that as they have a long-term plan to bring about an economic turnaround for Nigeria, they have to have a short-term plan to cushion the effects of people who are waiting for the dividends of democracy. I’m optimistic.
“God showed me that Nigeria is going to get better. We don’t have any other place called home than Nigeria. We have to be hopeful. We have to support the government in any way we can to do our best. But still, I still believe that the government have more to do and the citizens who have to be positive and give this regime the four years they have to see what they can do.
“On the 31st learnt about the Worry Refinery that is almost 60% in success and I think that’s the way to go. Other regions have been trying to do that, we’ve not seen such success. So I think this can do like that and this region might be able to do something irrespective of what we are seeing. I believe with all that, with Dangote Refinery, Portharcurt, Worry, and they’re talking about the Kaduna probably we’re most hopeful that things will turn around.
“I’ve been doing this now for more than 30 something years. And I was from the other religion, Muslim, and before I became a Christian.
“I m not looking for popularity or cheap popularity because God has already made me and I just declare my message as God’s review and there are years that come I don’t see anything. I just keep quiet and I pass messages. There are so many messages I have here that I’m going to send special letters to some of these people that I have access to quietly and the ones I know I don’t have access to, I speak to them openly.

Speaking further on insecurity, Iginla said that Nigerians must pray hard to …..
“On insecurity and the terrorism, that’s why I say that we have to pray. One of the greatest problem of Nigeria is that most politicians play politics with Nigerian lives so that we don’t go back to the days of total darkness because some people want to score a point. And it’s all about politics. That’s just it.
“The crux of this matter is all about politics. I don’t want to indict anybody, but one of the things we need to pray, the government of the day must tread with caution and tread with much caution and make sure that people that are aggrieved, they have a way of common ground or settling issues politically rather than ignoring them.
“My message to all Nigerians is that we have to be hopeful. We have to be positive. There’s no place that is called our home like Nigeria.
“No matter what is going on, we all are not happy with the situation of the country. We just have to believe in our government, in our leaders. And we have to speak truth to leaders and say our mind with respect. But Nigeria is our home.
“Even though we travel all abroad, we japa and do everything, there’s no place like home. And there’s nobody that will help us to build Nigeria, except we Nigeria, for Nigeria. I’m hopeful. My New Year message is, let’s hope and we will make it. And surely there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
“There is the need for Nigerians to come together and support one another in building a better future for their country.
