On Saturday, President Bola Tinubu made his first official visit to Enugu State since taking office on May 29, 2023. During his visit, the Commander-in-Chief launched several key projects initiated by Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration.

Tinubu inaugurated the construction of 30 “smart green” schools, rural roads, and 150 patrol vehicles equipped with AI-powered surveillance cameras.

Other projects that were commissioned include 30 fully completed and equipped Enugu Smart Green Schools, part of a larger plan to build 260 schools across the state’s 260 wards.

Additionally, 60 fully equipped Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres were inaugurated, part of a broader effort to construct 260 such facilities across the state.
