Dalung Shares Details Of Cabals In Tinubu’s Government

Dalung, who served during Buhari’s administration, made this remark during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Tuesday.

He explained that while Buhari was somewhat detached from the workings of his government, as key figures from the cabals effectively took control, the situation under Tinubu is different.

Dalung emphasized that while the cabals in Buhari’s time lacked significant education, those surrounding Tinubu are more sophisticated, ambitious, and well-versed in power dynamics.

He pointed out the ability of Tinubu’s allies to manipulate power, establish barriers around the president, and limit the flow of information and human interaction with him.

In July 2024, Tinubu, who narrowly emerged victorious in the closely contested February 2023 election and was inaugurated on May 29, 2023, firmly declared that he was not beholden to any cabal or influential figures.
