Death News Affecting Bello Turji Emerge After Fierce Battle In Zamfara

Bello Turji is currently running for his life after troops from Operation Fansan Yamma stated they killed scores of militants, including the son of the sought terror mastermind, during a raid in Zamfara.

According to a statement issued on Sunday by the Armed Forces’ Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Edward Buba, the feat was accomplished on January 17 during a coordinated operation between troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA and the air component conducting clearance operations along the Shinkafi, Kagara, Fakai, Moriki, Maiwa, and Chindo axis.

The operations killed scores of militants, including the son of infamous terrorist leader Bello Turji, on the Fakai high ground where the terrorists were hiding, according to the statement.

The Army’s declaration comes after news of his son’s and loyalists’ killings spread around the Arewa community on X, leaving the majority of posters excited.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama announced the news on his verified X account on Saturday night, saying that the terrorist mastermind was on the run.

According to the Army’s statement, the intensity of army power resulted in heavy terrorist losses and the destruction of their supply hub.

The raids also resulted in the recovery of other kidnapped hostages held captive by Turji.

“The terrorist leader, Bello Turji, in a gross cowardly act escaped abandoning his son and combatants,” the statement added.
