In a startling turn of events, bandits attacked the Tsiga community in Bakori local government area of Katsina State, kidnapping several residents, including Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga, the former Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
The assault took place in the early hours of Thursday, around 12:30 am, when armed assailants invaded the community, causing widespread panic among the residents.

Sources familiar with the situation have stated that authorities have been notified, and security forces are working to secure the release of the hostages.
