Tinubu Appoints Chairman, Members Of NASS Service Commission

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Saviour Enyiekere as the Chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) for a five-year renewable term.

Before his appointment, Enyiekere, an environmental expert, served as the Deputy Chief of Staff to Senate President Bayo Onanuga, as stated by Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.

Additionally, the President has appointed two members to the commission from each of the six geopolitical zones. The appointees are:

– Suleiman Hunkuyi and Hon. Yusuf Tabuka (North West)
– Aminu Malle and Lawan Mahmud (North East)
– Mark Tersoo and Salihu Balogun (North Central)
– Taiwo Oluga and Afeez Ipeza-Balogun (South West)
– Nnanna Kalu and Festus Odii (South East)
– Patrick Giwa and Mary Ekpenyong (South South)

Like the chairman, the members of the commission will also serve a renewable term of five years.
