Ahmed Musa’s Father Demands Justice Over Alleged Killing Of Son

The brutal murder of Ahmed Musa, an SS2 student at Government Technical College Malali in Kaduna North Local Government, has sparked widespread outrage and demands for justice.

Musa Muhammed, the victim’s father and a journalist, confirmed his son’s tragic death, calling it a senseless and violent act.

He stated that his son’s body was found on the school grounds on Sunday, February 16, 2025, showing clear signs of physical assault and strangulation.

Muhammed has called for a thorough investigation to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the crime. “This was not an accident. My son was brutally murdered by unknown individuals, and I demand a full investigation to find those responsible,” he said.

He also called for proper compensation for the loss of his son, highlighting the profound impact on his family, especially since Ahmed was his mother’s only child.

The Kaduna Doka Development Association (KDDA) has raised concerns as well, submitting a petition to the state governor titled, “Urgent Appeal for Justice in the Murder of One of Our Member’s Sons (Ahmed Musa) at Technical School Malali.” The association condemned the murder, stressing that it has devastated not only the victim’s family but also the entire community.

Sani Rabiu Bako, KDDA Chairman, condemned the act as “heinous” and urged for immediate action to bring justice. Similarly, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Kaduna, led by Chairman Abdulgafar Alabelewe, has called for a thorough investigation into what they described as a “barbaric act.”

In response, the Kaduna State Police Command confirmed that an investigation is underway. DSP Mansir Hassan, the command’s spokesperson, stated, “Yes, we are investigating the matter. The Commissioner of Police has ordered a full investigation.”

As the investigation progresses, public calls for justice continue to intensify, with many demanding swift action to bring those responsible for Ahmed Musa’s murder to justice.
