OSSIEC Presents Certificate Of Return To ‘Elected’ Osun LG Chairmen

The newly elected chairpersons of the 30 local government councils in Osun State have officially received their Certificates of Return.

On Saturday, the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC) announced that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had won all the chairmanship and councillorship positions in the state.

The following day, the commission presented the elected officials with their certificates.

In a statement on Sunday, OSIEC’s Information Officer, Sadiat Isiaka, confirmed the news.

She noted that OSIEC Chairman, Barrister Hashim Abioye, congratulated the winners on their success and encouraged them to serve as exemplary ambassadors of democracy, both in their actions and in their service to the people.
