A viral 53-second video shows the moment a driver of a “Naval Police” Hilux vehicle exited his truck to argue with another driver.

After returning to his seat, a soldier armed with a rifle approached the vehicle and punched the Naval Police driver, setting off a chaotic brawl.

The situation rapidly spiralled into a free-for-all, with personnel from both units trading blows as shocked civilians watched in disbelief.

While the exact cause of the fight has not been confirmed, the clash occurred as the President was departing from an event venue.

Ironically, President Tinubu was in Bayelsa to commission projects—including a 60-megawatt gas turbine plant—where he praised the military and reaffirmed his administration’s goal to end insecurity.

He promised continued support for the armed forces, stating that his government would keep training and equipping personnel to tackle threats like “insurgency, banditry, and other violent threats.”
