The removed Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has entered the Assembly complex.
Reports indicate that Obasa, accompanied by security personnel, arrived at the Speaker’s Office around noon on Thursday.

This development comes after the security aides of the current Speaker, Mojisola Meranda, were withdrawn.
Confirming the incident in a brief statement on Thursday, Meranda’s Chief Press Secretary, Segun Ajiboye, alleged that Obasa and his team forcibly gained access to the office.
“We’re at the assembly now,” a source in the Obasa camp also said.
