Tinubu Appoints Shettima’s Aides For Health, Job Creation

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointments of Mr. Temitola Adekunle-Johnson as Special Adviser to the President on Job Creation & MSME, and Mrs. Uju Anwuka as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Health, both in the Office of the Vice President.

This was revealed in a statement by Stanley Nkwocha, the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Communication, titled *‘President Tinubu Approves Appointment of Special Adviser, Senior Special Assistant In VP’s Office’*, issued on Wednesday.

Nkwocha stated that these appointments are part of the ongoing efforts to fulfill the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration, particularly in their respective areas. Both appointments take effect immediately.

Adekunle-Johnson and Anwuka had previously held similar roles, with Adekunle-Johnson serving as Senior Special Assistant and Anwuka as Special Assistant within the Vice President’s office.

“As Senior Special Assistant, Mr. Adekunle-Johnson has successfully driven several of the administration’s policies and programs focused on job creation and the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises in Nigeria,” the statement noted.

Key initiatives led by Adekunle-Johnson include the Expanded National MSME Clinics and the Shared Facility Initiative, among others.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Anwuka, as Special Assistant, has been instrumental in advancing the administration’s efforts to combat malnutrition and hunger, especially in vulnerable communities across the country. A notable program under her leadership is the recently launched Nutrition 774 Initiative.
