President Bola Tinubu has condemned the killing of hunters who were intercepted by local vigilantes in the Uromi community, Esan North Local Government Area of Edo State.
Expressing shock over the incident on Thursday, the President ordered the police and other security agencies to carry out a swift and thorough investigation to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.

He extended his condolences to the families of the victims and reassured them that criminals would not be allowed to take innocent lives without consequences.
Emphasizing that jungle justice has no place in Nigeria, Tinubu reaffirmed the right of all citizens to move freely across the country.
He also commended Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and Uromi community leaders for their prompt intervention in preventing further unrest.
