Court Takes Strong Decision On Boy Who Stood Before Peter Obi’s Convoy Months After Detention

The Magistrate Court in Apapa has released 17-year-old Alabi Quadri, who gained public attention before the 2023 general elections for his actions of standing in front of former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi’s motorcade.

Magistrate Adetola Olorunfemi discharged the minor based on the legal advice provided by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
