APC Sends Message To Nigerians On Tinubu’s Alleged N85,000 Empowerment

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has warned Nigerians about a fraudulent message circulating online, falsely claiming that President Bola Tinubu is offering an N85,000 empowerment grant.

The party advised the public to ignore the message and avoid contacting the phone number linked to the scam.

Felix Morka, APC’s national publicity secretary, issued the warning on Tuesday evening.

He explained that scammers are asking people to provide their bank details to receive the fake N85,000 and directing them to call the number 07078309083.

“This message is a scam,” Morka emphasized. “We strongly advise the public to disregard it and not to engage with the number or any similar ones.

We also urge security agencies to quickly trace those behind this fraudulent scheme and ensure they are prosecuted,” he added.
