Ondo Governor Returns To Classroom, Teaches Pupils [VIDEO]

A widely circulated video on Friday captured a touching scene of Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, returning to a classroom to teach at an unspecified school.

The video, shared on the Governor’s official Facebook page with the caption “Once a teacher, always a teacher,” shows him writing “Drugs” on the blackboard while interacting with the students.

He engages them by asking them to name three types of drugs, encouraging their participation and generating enthusiastic responses.

This act comes weeks after Governor Aiyedatiwa approved the recruitment of 1,100 primary school teachers across all 18 local government areas of Ondo State in March 2025, a move intended to bolster the state’s education sector.

The Governor stated that this initiative, funded through the 2023/2024 UBEC/SUBEB intervention, is part of a comprehensive effort to upgrade the education system.
