President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of 22 individuals to key positions across various federal agencies and commissions.
These appointments, spanning sectors such as agriculture, education, population, and public service administration, were announced on Saturday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, via X.
Among the new appointees are:
- Yazid Shehu Umar Danfulani as Managing Director of the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC).
- Babaranti Ayandayoo Rasheed as Executive Director (Finance and Admin) at NAIC.
- Abubakar Umar Jarengol as Executive Director (Operation/Technical) at NAIC.
- Asabe Vilita Bashir as Director-General of the National Centre for Women Development.
- Momoh Jibril as a board member at the Federal Mortgage Bank.
- Isa Aremu as Director-General of the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies.
- Jalo Zarami and Joseph Haruna Kigbu as Federal Commissioners of the National Population Commission, representing Yobe and Nasarawa States, respectively.
- Hamza Ibrahim Baba as National Programme Manager at the Government Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Program (GEEP).
- Abubakar Adamu as Executive Secretary of the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria.
- Mohammed Lawal Ibrahim as Executive Director (Finance/Admin) of the Nigeria Sao Tome Joint Development Authority.
- Abdullahi Mohammed as Executive Director (Monitoring and Implementation) at the Nigeria Sao Tome Joint Development Authority.
- Tijjani Yahaya Kaura as Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre.
- Philip Shaibu as Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Sport.
- Omobolanle Akinyemiju-Ode as Director-General of the National Senior Citizen Centre, Abuja.
