Akwa Ibom State’s chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has applauded Governor Umo Eno for his bipartisan approach to governance.
This commendation follows the governor’s donation of a Prado Jeep to Obong Stephen Ntukekpo, the chairman of the main opposition party in the state.
Barr. Otoabasi Udo, the state APC publicity secretary, praised the governor’s “rare gesture,” describing the gift as a sign of mature politics and stating that the party received it with excitement.

“The APC Akwa Ibom State, wishes to express our profound gratitude to our amiable governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, on his kind gesture and generosity by doling out to our ebullient state Chairman, Obong Stephen Leo Ntukekpo, a brand new SUV Prado Jeep,” the statement read.
The car presentation occurred during the governor’s second anniversary celebration at the International Worship Centre, where Governor Eno showcased his administration’s achievements over the past two years.
The governor also used the occasion to reflect on the peace and tranquility achieved in the state under his administration, noting it as the foundation for ongoing development and progress. He emphasized that a political party, regardless of its affiliation, is merely a vehicle for a politician to implement their vision for the people.
The APC spokesman urged the public not to overreact to the prospect of his impending movement across party lines.
