Mallam Garba Shehu, spokesperson for former President Muhammadu Buhari, stated yesterday that there is no conflict between Buhari and President Bola Tinubu.
During an appearance on Trust TVâs 30 Minutes, Shehu dismissed reports of a strained relationship between the two as mere speculation, noting that there has been no official dispute between them.
He emphasized that Buhari continues to stand by the All Progressives Congress (APC), the party that helped him win the presidency after three previous failed attempts.

He said: âWhen people are entitled to hold their opinion, and your interpretation of it is purely your entitlement.
âI donât think in a formal and official sense, anybody would talk about distrust or mistrust or a façade between the Buhari administration and the Tinubu administration.
âFor Muhammadu Buhari, for him, heâs essentially an APC member.
âHe does not forget the fact that he ran one, two, three times and failed to get the presidency until they cobbled together the APC.
âAPC came together and gave him two terms, for which he has remained grateful, and saysâand thatâs what Iâve learned from himââI will never be ungrateful. I will never betray the party that gave me two terms in office.â
