The All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged as the dominant victor in the Lagos State local government elections, securing all 20 chairmanship seats.

The Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) announced on Sunday that the APC also won 375 of the 376 councillorship seats across the state, with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) claiming the remaining one councillorship seat in Ward D, Yaba.
