Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan successfully entered the National Assembly premises in Abuja on Tuesday, following an initial denial of access.
The lawmaker, currently serving a six-month suspension, had previously vowed to resume her legislative duties, citing a court verdict that she believed mandated her recall.

However, upon her initial attempt to enter, both her black car and a car carrying activist Aisha Yesufu, which was in front of hers, were stopped from gaining entry.
Undeterred, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan exited her vehicle and proceeded into the National Assembly complex on foot, accompanied by several supporters.
