Comfort Emmanson, the Ibom Air passenger whose altercation with the airline’s crew went viral, “has spoken on the incident.”
The incident occurred on a flight from Uyo to Lagos after she reportedly refused to switch off her cellphone as instructed and allegedly attacked a purser.

The airline filed charges against her, leading to her arraignment, and the Airline Operators of Nigeria banned her from flying for life.
However, following consultations led by Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo, the police withdrew all charges on August 13, and the lifetime ban was later lifted.
