How 18 New Edo Line Passengers Were Kidnapped In Edo [VIDEO]

Eighteen passengers travelling on an “Edo Line” bus were “kidnapped” on Friday along the Benin-Auchi Highway in Edo State.

The victims, who were said to be “Abuja bound,” were forced into the bush by their abductors.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Edo State Command, SP Moses Iyamu, confirmed the incident on Saturday, stating that “sixteen (16)” out of the “18 victims” have been rescued.

He stressed that police have intensified a “search and rescue” operation in collaboration with “local vigilantes and hunters” to ensure the release of the remaining passengers from the kidnappers’ “den.”
