Guinness World Records offered words of encouragement to Nigerian celebrity chef Hilda Baci during her attempt to prepare the world’s largest portion of Nigerian-style jollof rice.
The organization responded by sharing a video from the event on X (formerly Twitter), where they wrote, “What’s cookin’? Best of luck to @hildabacicooks who’s attempting a new record for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice today.”

Baci, who gained international recognition in 2023 for setting the record for the longest individual cooking marathon, began her new challenge at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.
