The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results, showing that 60.26% of candidates earned five credits or more, including English and Mathematics.
Announcing the results on Wednesday at NECO’s headquarters in Minna, Niger State, the Registrar, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, revealed that 818,492 candidates achieved five credits and above, including English and Mathematics, representing 60.26%.

He further stated that 1,144,496 candidates, or 84.26%, obtained five credits and above regardless of English and Mathematics.
According to him, 1,367,210 candidates registered for the examination, comprising 685,514 males and 681,696 females, while 1,358,339 actually sat for the exams—680,292 males and 678,047 females.
