The visit of Vice Admiral Ibas came amid calls for him to give an account of his six-month rule in Rivers State.
His tenure as administrator ended on September 17 after President Tinubu reinstated the suspended state governor, Siminalayi Fubara, his deputy, and the members of the state House of Assembly.
Following their resumption, the Rivers State House of Assembly, led by Speaker Martin Amaewhule, announced it would investigate the state’s expenditure under Vice Admiral Ibas during the six-month emergency rule.
