Key members of the opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC) met in Abuja on Thursday.
The party, which has been very critical of the current administration, is preparing to give the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) a tough fight in 2027.

Among those who attended the meeting were former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, former Governor Nasiru El-Rufai, former Minister Isa Pantami, former Senate President David Mark, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, and former Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, who is a strong ally of Bukola Saraki.
Others present at the meeting are National Chairman, David Mark; National Secretary, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola; and former Rivers State governor, Chibuike Amaechi.
