How Some Ladies Were Seen Performing Cultural Dance [VIDEO]

In the video, some ladies are seen performing the “Chura” dance which has to do with culture in Tanzania.

The “Chura” dance involves acrobatic, ground-based moves like splits and hip shaking, often seen as twerking.

“Chura” dance was banned in 2016 for explicit content but still persists culturally despite restrictions on the related music.

The Chura dance (also called Baikoko) originates from Tanzania’s coastal regions as a traditional rite of passage taught to girls by elders.
