During the Nigerian Senate session on the Criminal Code (Amendment) Bill 2025, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan attempted a second contribution on the abortion clause after Akpabio had stepped down debate on the matter.
She requested that Senate president Godswill Akpabio allowed her speak arguing that she is a woman and the matter has to do with abortion.

Akpabio allowed her to speak and Senator Adams Oshiomhole promptly raised a point of order to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Oshiomhole questioned why Akpabio allowed Natasha speak again.
