Tinubu Approves Five New Permanent Secretaries For Federal Civil Service

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries to fill existing vacancies within the Federal Civil Service.

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack, announced the appointments in a statement released on Monday in Abuja by Mrs. Eno Olotu, Director of Information and Public Relations.

According to the statement, the new Permanent Secretaries are Ibrahim Ozi (Federal Capital Territory), Ezemama Chidiebere (Imo State), Garba Usman (North Central), Mohammed Ishiyaku (North East), and Ukaire Chigbowu (South East).

Walson-Jack explained that the appointments were the outcome of a rigorous and transparent selection process, consistent with the Tinubu administration’s emphasis on meritocracy and excellence in public service.

She urged the newly appointed officials to apply their experience and expertise in enhancing service delivery and advancing the government’s development goals.

The Head of Service also praised President Tinubu for upholding transparency, professionalism, and merit-based governance, noting that the appointments demonstrate the administration’s commitment to building a competent and results-driven civil service capable of meeting the expectations of Nigerians.
