The video captures the moment police officers in the Kubwa area of Abuja stopped Lt. Ahmed Yerima, a naval officer.
This happened during a routine patrol by the policemen.
He was stopped for driving a tinted Toyota Camry with a covered number plate.

The policemen can be heard raising their voices in the video as the naval officer brings out his means of identification.
Yerima, whose face was not visible in the video, is seen showing the officers his ID card as a means of identification.
Yerima was recently involved in a confrontation with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.
The video of that incident went viral and contributed to Yerima’s now-growing popularity.
