Senate President Godswill Akpabio has been spotted in Abuja hours after reports claiming he collapsed and was flown to London for medical treatment.
The rumors, which circulated on Monday, alleged that the Senate President was flown to the United Kingdom on a private jet provided by Aliko Dangote after a health crisis on December 10, purportedly explaining his absence from recent official duties like the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) session.

Meanwhile, Kenny Okolugbo, Akpabio’s Consultant on Communications and Strategy, categorically dismissed the claims as “fake news” and “a lie.”
Despite unverified reports suggesting that medical experts had advised him to resign for health reasons and that several senators had traveled abroad to visit him, Akpabio’s team maintains that the narrative is entirely false.
