What The Obidient Movement Will Do If Atiku Wins ADC Presidential Primary – Tanko Yunusa

The National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement Worldwide, Tanko Yunusa, has affirmed that the movement is fully committed to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and will respect the results of its presidential primary, regardless of who wins.

Appearing on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief this Thursday, Yunusa emphasized that the movement is rooted in democratic values and will operate “democratically” within the structures of the ADC.

While the movement’s primary focus remains backing Peter Obi, Yunusa noted they are prepared to compete fairly against other heavyweights, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

He expressed strong conviction that Obi’s massive following would ultimately secure him the ticket.

“As democrats, we will go in there and contest equitably well with every contestant based on democratic tenets. We believe that at the end of it all, Mr. Peter Obi will come out on top with the large teaming population that he is bringing into the ADC,” Yunusa said.

When pressed on whether the movement would exit the party if Atiku Abubakar secured the nomination instead of Obi, Yunusa was clear about their loyalty to the platform.

“We will remain at the party and give the party the lease of life it demands democratically,” he insisted.
