President Bola Tinubu has put forward Taiwo Oyedele for appointment as Minister of State for Finance.
The nomination was disclosed by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, who stated that Oyedele, a former Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, is set to replace Doris Uzoka-Anite in the role.
Onanuga added that President Tinubu has formally transmitted Oyedele’s nomination to the Senate for confirmation through a letter addressed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
