Senator David Mark, the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has admitted that the recent departures of former Anambra Governor Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso have had an effect on the party, yet he maintained that this shift will only motivate the party to increase its efforts.
The Chairman further promised Nigerians that the ADC remains dedicated to fielding qualified candidates who possess the ability to secure victory in the 2027 elections.

While speaking to the Forum of ADC Former and Serving Federal Lawmakers at the party’s Abuja headquarters on Wednesday, Mark shared his belief that the party’s current hurdles will eventually build its strength and lead to success.
Addressing the high-profile exits of Obi and former Kano State Governor Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, Mark remarked, “No doubt, the exit of Obi and Kwankwaso has its impact, but it will spur us to work harder.”
