Mahmud Sadis Buba, a 30-year-old aspirant popularly known as Abin Al-Ajabin Zazzau, has successfully undergone screening by the All Progressives Congress for the Sabon Gari Federal Constituency seat in Kaduna State.
A video of the session surfaced on Sunday, showing Buba in traditional attire.
The footage has gained significant attention due to his extremely youthful and baby-faced appearance, which led many to believe he was much younger than 30.
During the interview, Buba remained composed while addressing questions about his motivations and background, confirming he is the eldest of nine children and is running because his people had called on him to serve.

When officials asked how the party could assist him, he replied, “Help to pass the screening, having passed the requirements, because people called me to serve them, and I will serve. I am not doing this for myself.”
He noted that he is one of two candidates vying for the ticket, challenging the current incumbent.
When questioned about replacing the sitting lawmaker, he stated, “It is not from me. It is from the people.”
Buba, who leads the Tinubu–Uba Sani Agenda ’27 support group, recently acquired his nomination forms.
While his appearance sparked a mix of amusement and scepticism online, supporters view the NECO certificate holder as a symbol of youth participation in politics.
The screening has triggered a wider debate regarding age, merit and inclusion within the Nigerian political system, with some critics describing the tone of the interview as demeaning despite Buba’s praised confidence.
