Police Officer Threatens To Kill Anyone Who Films Him On Duty [VIDEO]

In a viral video, a man named Newton Isokpehi, who claimed to be an active police officer with 26 years of service, has threatened to gun down anyone who films him while he is performing his duties.

The footage, which began circulating widely across social media on Wednesday, shows Isokpehi delivering graphic threats directed at the public, as well as any high-ranking officer he assumed had authorized citizens to record personnel on duty. He expressed these warnings in Pidgin English.

An online source located Isokpehi’s TikTok account, which uses the profile name “Newton isokpehi for life” and the handle #actor459.

The page featured various clips of him dressed in police uniform mixed with personal posts.

Although the contentious video was deleted from the profile, the account itself was still active at the time of this report, with older uploads showing him in uniform remaining accessible.

The source was unable to confirm through independent means whether Isokpehi is an official member of the Nigerian Police Force.

In the recording, he challenged individuals to come near him with a camera while he is working.

He also leveled explicit threats at any superior officer who might have instructed the public to capture police activities on film.

At one point in the video, Isokpehi showcased what he claimed were bullet wounds on his arm to highlight the challenges personnel face without proper welfare packages.

He did, however, note that the sitting Inspector General of Police has started clearing the backlog of unpaid death benefits and insurance claims due to officers and their next of kin.

The selfie-style video, which featured an ironic “God bless police” text overlay, quickly gained traction across multiple social media networks.

The public response was immediate and critical, with internet users branding the individual’s behavior as unsafe, unprofessional, and a reflection of rogue elements within the institution.

The Nigeria Police Force had not released an official statement regarding the matter at the time of publication.
