A video capturing the terrifying moment suspected cultists launched a brutal machete attack on a rival has surfaced online, sparking reactions.
The footage shows the victim sitting outside a building before suddenly taking to his heels the moment he spotted the armed attackers charging toward him.
However, his attempt to escape proved futile as he was quickly intercepted and caught not too far from the spot, where one assailant firmly held him down while the other used a machete to cut him several times.
The violent attack did not last long, as both men were forced to stop and flee the scene, leaving their victim behind, after a group of men ran toward them to intervene.
