The development follows Governor Sule’s recent reversal of a previous stance, where he had openly declared on national television that he would not contest for any elective position once his current tenure wrapped up.

The governor, who is presently serving out his second and final term in office, is running for the Nasarawa North senatorial district ticket in the upcoming general elections.

He clinched the Nasarawa North APC senatorial primary election after securing 47,393 votes to triumph over his opponent, Silas Agara, who scored a total of 2,915 votes.
