Davido Shares Okpebholo’s WAEC Certificate To Mock Him Over His Comments On Adeleke

Afrobeats star David Adeleke, widely known as Davido has reacted sharply to remarks made by Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo on Governor Ademola Adeleke.

This is coming after a video circulated online showing Governor Okpebholo addressing supporters at a political gathering.

During his speech, the Edo governor targeted Governor Ademola Adeleke, mocking his frequent dancing at public events and questioning his leadership style.

Okpebholo remarked on the situation, stating, “Before somebody signs paper he will dance. Are you not tired? For four years this man has been dancing. Before he takes breakfast he will dance”.

He further claimed that the Osun governor is disconnected from governance, adding, “Before he enters the plane he will dance. Before he gets there, we have closed, so he won’t know what we are saying. He doesn’t even know the reality of today”.

Hours after the video gained traction online, Davido—who is a nephew to the Osun State Governor—decided to hit back.

Taking to his verified Instagram story, the singer shared a snapshot of what appeared to be Governor Okpebholo’s West African Senior School Certificate Examination result without attaching any text or caption.

The shared document instantly sparked massive online reactions, displaying academic grades that included a D7 in Commerce, Christian Religious Knowledge, Economics, and English Language, an E8 in Government, and a C5 in Mathematics.

As of the time of reporting, Governor Okpebholo has yet to issue an official response or statement regarding the singer’s fiery reaction, while Davido has maintained silence following the post.
