The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, recently carried out an inspection of the arrangements for his upcoming fifth coronation anniversary situated in Okere, Warri, Delta State.
The respected monarch performed this on-the-spot evaluation while engaging in his morning fitness activity, riding an electric scooter across the area alongside members of his security detail.
Footage detailing the inspection tour was published on his official Facebook page on Saturday accompanied by the caption, “His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, as part of his fitness regimen, this morning conducted an on-the-spot assessment tour of preparations towards the coming 5th Coronation anniversary.”
Local residents and onlookers who crossed paths with the king warmly hailed and cheered for him as he proceeded with his assessment.
His public appearance also generated numerous reactions on Facebook, where users praised his approachable nature and pleasant demeanor.
The Olu of Warri is lined up to commemorate his fifth year on the throne through a variety of engaging events and activities.
Notably, the monarch has previously trended across multiple online videos for opting for a scooter over a traditional motorcade during public outings, including a ride through his ancestral home of Ode-Itsekiri in March 2025 and another inspection tour of a freshly completed Delta State road in December 2025.
