The United Kingdom has advised its citizens against all travel to parts of 11 Nigerian states, while warning against all but essential travel to parts of 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The official guidance was outlined in the updated Nigeria travel advisory published by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
Based on the latest update, the FCDO strongly cautioned against all trips to Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, and Gombe states situated in the North-East.
Additional restrictions apply to Katsina and Zamfara states in the North-West, alongside the specific riverine zones across Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River states in the southern regions.
