Afrobeats star David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, was recently seen in a playful exchange with Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, cheerfully declaring victory and claiming he outdid the minister’s side in a newly surfaced video clip.
The viral moment, which emerged from an Instagram post on Friday, took place when Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke paid a visit to Wike on Thursday.
Within the footage, Davido is dressed in brown traditional attire as he stands up and repeatedly tells Wike, “I won. I beat you guys,” while the minister immediately challenges the statement.
Wike, seated comfortably in a white shirt, flashes a smile and responds, “No, no.”
Undeterred, Davido insists, “I won! I beat you.”
“You beat us?” Wike asks.
“I beat you,” Davido repeats.
