Some residents of Kano who participated in the campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have voiced their displeasure over the N3,000 payment they reportedly received from the party.
Expressing their dissatisfaction, several residents speaking in the Hausa language complained that the sum was insufficient to cover their transportation costs.
This situation emerged amid political mobilization efforts by the APC in Kano, where the party launched a support framework for the reelection of President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming general election.
In the video, disgruntled supporters wearing APC-branded shirts expressed bewilderment at the money provided to them following the event.
One of the men explained that participants had even borrowed funds to cover their transit fares to the campaign venue, only to be given N3,000 afterward.
“If you people keep giving us N3,000 for the APC campaign, we won’t come again. Some of us borrowed transport fare to come to the campaign ground and they are only paying us N3,000,” the angry man said.
